Difference between USA and India
Since i have landed here only recently, my remarks will not be in any sense authoritative. However, they are my first impressions of this country and perhaps among the things noticed by everyone coming here. So then lets see what is difference between USA and India:
1. CARS: Man, just walking down the pathway in the morning i can see so many beauties (cars, that is) making their way to the city. They are also in a completely different league than the average indian car. AND, the people who drive follow the RULES. That is, of course, as DIFFERENT as it can get :).
2. People: America's soul, if i may say so, is the immigrants who have made this country their own. They take pride in it, and help make it a fabulous place to live in. Mutual respect is of foremost importance, atleast thats what i have experienced till now.
3. Queues and Pedestrians: There is an entity called a Queue here, and anybody looking at it can say its a queue. People are not forming groups in the middle, crowding onto the person in the front, leaning on him/her to have a look at whats going on :). And i like that. Also traffic stops to let the pedestrain cross the road. Now thats much much different than back there, isnt it.
All in all, i am loving every moment here. And the good thing is that the fun has not started yet. College is yet to open, and i am sure eager for it.
